White & Gold Design Basket Spice Dish #2

This is a second cute little basket likely meant to be an open salt or spice dish made by KPM in the mid 19th century between 1837 and 1844. The piece has a superb design to it with lots of molded relief detail. It has a divider in the center and a nice handle over that. Lots of gold highlights and the inside wall is fully gilded as well. A great looking and unusual piece! The piece is in great condition with a couple of hard to see spots of gold wear to the inner lip. It displays perfectly! The piece is 2.625 inches tall at the handle, 3.625 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. Marked underneath with the rare KPM under the scepter mark only used for a few years. It also has the red orb mark as well as a gilder's mark and an impressed mark. A truly fun little piece! I have another one up for sale if anyone is interested in a rare pair! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
