Horse & Rider Figurine

This is a superb figurine of a horse being led around by his rider made by KPM around 1780. The detail of this piece is superb and being left in the white only brings it out better. The rider is wearing an 18th century outfit which is something I always enjoy when seeing old figurines - seeing how they were dressed/how they lived. The horse is a nice stallion. The figurine is in great condition with the short piece of reign between his hand and the horse's mouth missing and a small chip to the reigns by his hand, a small chip to his hat, what I presume was a feather missing from the top of his hat, a few chips to the one side of the base and the two ears of the horse are chipped. The piece displays superbly and is over 200 years old so really in amazing shape! The figurine is 7.375 inches tall, 6.5 inches long and 3.25 inches wide. It is marked underneath with one of the 18th century underglaze blue scepter marks as well as an incised number 22. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
