Ginko Leaf Design Art Nouveau Plate

This is a stunning plate with a hard to find design made by KPM in the early 20th century during the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period. The plate has a Ginko tree leaf design around the edge with the outlines of each leaf done is raised gilding. Five very Art Nouveau designs jutting into the plate from the edge done in light green and raised gold. Looks like it should be jewelled but it is not. The well edge has a light green and gold design around it as well to complete a very nice looking plate. Gold trim to the nicely shaped edge. Not a design one sees often at all and it fits very much into this period. The plate is in great condition with some use marks to the gilding as one would expect. No chips, repairs, etc. and it displays superbly. The piece is 1.125 inches tall and 9.5 inches in diameter and marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, some black numbers, painter's marks and the usual impressed marks as shown.
