Robra Art Nouveau Bird Figurine

This is a fun bird figurine made by KPM during the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period of the early 20th century. A pretty rare model that I have not seen before. Designed by Wilhelm Carl Robra who made some superb animal figures for KPM Berlin during this time. The figure is superbly modled and hand painted in the rare under glaze colors used during this period. The base is made up of some sort of intertwined branches or brush and painted in grey hues while the bird is mostly painted in green hues with some blue. It makes the bird really stand out nicely. The figurine is in perfect condition! The piece is 3.5 inches tall, 3.5 inches long and 2.25 inches wide. Marked with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the under glaze blue orb mark as well as the usual other marks these pieces from this period have as shown.
