Porcelain Handle with Silver Blade #2

This is a nice butter or fruit knife with a porcelain handle I believe was made by KPM in the 19th century. The blade is a very nice sterling silver replacement made by J.E. Caldwell & Co. The porcelain piece is nicely hand painted with some flowers, and the porcelain has a nice relief design to it with some gold highlights. The end still has the original piece of the blade coming out of it which is nice. The knife is in perfect condition with some very minor wear to the gilding. The entire piece is about 7.875 inches long of which 3.5 inches is visible porcelain. The handles are just uner 1 inch at the widest part. The porcelain is not visibly marked but the Sterling silver blade is marked as shown. Please e-mail me for more information or photos.

Price is $225
