Reticulated Kurland Plate

This is a superb plate in the Kurland pattern Decor 73 made by KPM in the early 20th century. A rare reticulated version that one really does not see often at all! The Kurland design is one of my favorite patterns and looks very stunning when in use or on display. The piece is hand painted with a superb floral arrangement in the center as well as four butterflies and off course the greenish / turquoise & gold trim along the edge typical of this pattern and decor. This has the gilded curtain swags along the rim with the turquoise part being reticulated. It makes it even more stunning looking than the regular version! The dish in superb condition with some minor wear to the raised ovals along the edge and tiny round spots along the ege of the well. Very even wear and the piece displays superbly! It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the red orb as well as the usual impressed and s painter's marks of this period as shown. The plate is 0.875 inches tall with a diameter of just over 8.75 inches. A very elegant example! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $449
