KPM Ladies & Peacock Plate

This is a plate made by Waldenburg aka Krister Porzellanmanufaktur in the third quarter of the 19th century. It was founded around 1823 and is today still regarded as the greatest Polish porcelain factory (back then off course it was part of Germany). The plate is handpainted with a nice scene of two ladies sitting on a park bench feeding a peacock on it. Nice gold trim as well. The plate is in good condition with a very shallow flake to the rim that has blue paint on it and wear to the gilding. A little gold will cover that spot perfectly! It is 0.875 inches tall and 7.125 inches in diameter. The plate is marked underneath with the underglaze KPM with a line over the P mark in blue. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $59
