Elisabeth Form Yellow Ground Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup and saucer set made by KPM during the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period in the earlier 20th century. The date code is Y for 1924. A very sleek design especially the handle. This form is called Elisabeth and it's not a common one. One of the few that comes in these solid ground colors which look amazing! This set here is a nice light yellow color with gilding to the top edge, the foot of the cup, the handle and around the well of the saucer. Simple but very elegant! The set is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the red orb and various painted and impressed marks as shown. Both pieces are in superb condition. The cup is 2 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 6 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
