Neuzierat Floral Dessert Plate

This is a superb dessert plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. The design is called Neuzierat and this is the version with the spaces between the raised design and the rims left white and not fully gilded. The piece is hand painted superbly along the rim with three larger floral arrangements and three small flowers and has a superb raised gold trim in between that juts out into the well of the plate. A single flower adorns the center. The dish is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the red orb, a gilder's and painter's mark and the usual impressed marks as shown. It is in great condition with the stems of one of the floral arrangements mostly gone which was probably a firing issue and some very minor wear to the gilding along the very edge. It displays superbly! The plate is 0.875 inches tall and 7.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
