Neuzierat Plate w/ Pansies

This is a great plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is from their Neuzierat line which happens to be one of my personal favorites! The piece is hand painted in the center with a superb floral design including pansies as well as some leaves and other small flowers. And as if the quality of the painting is not nice enough the edge has this superb relief design to it that has been fully gilded to look amazing. That combo is hard to beat and makes this one elegant plate! It is in perfect condition with a small spot where the gilding has oxidixed a touch which is common to these pieces. Displays perfectly! The dish is 1.125 inches tall with a diameter of 8.5 inches. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark as well as the usual impressed and painter's / gilder's marks as shown.
