Orange Flower Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by KPM around 1780. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. It is handpainted with a large orange or rust colored floral arrangement, some smaller flowers as well as a nice gold trim. Nice handle shape to the cup that is also highlighted with gilding. The set is in superb condition with just a tiny bit of wear to the gilding. The cup is 1.875 inches tall and 3.125 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and just under 5.25 inches in diameter. Both are marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter with the cup also having an impressed 5 underneath and the saucer a number 25 or something along those lines. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
