Pair of Green Floral Vases

This is a superb large pair of porcelain lidded vases / urns made by KPM around in the mid 19th century. Each vase has two superb floral arrangements - one on either side - of roses in different colors and stages of bloom including their leaves. Each floral panel is srrounded by a nice tooled gold trim with the rest of the pieces having a really ncie green ground color. The nicely shaped lids have the same ground color and a simple gold trim. A really stunning pair that would look amazing anywhere in a room due to them having flowers to either side. The pair is in great condition with a few minor scratches but sadly these were once converted into lamps so they each ahve a hole in the bottom as well as where the finial of the lids would be. An easy fix if need be but they display superbly as is! The vases with their lids in place are about 14.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches in daimeter so quite large. They are both marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter with the round "pfennig" mark and the red orb mark showing they were painted by KPM.
