KPM Perfume Egg

This is a perfume bottle in the shape of an egg made by KPM in the mid 19th century or earlier. It is handpainted with a very detailed scene of two cherubs in a landscape background. There is what looks to be a birds nest on the ground with eggs fallen out and two birds in the sky. Fancy gold trim to back as well as top of egg. It still has its original metal stopper as well as the original cork on it. It is a bit loose since the cork is old and has been openend so many times over all these years. The piece is unmarked which is always the case with these eggs as there is no good spot to do so without killing the decoration. The egg is 4 inches tall with the stopper and 2.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1749
