Pink Floral Fork #1

This is a great fork with the porcelain handle most likely made by KPM around 1780. The porcelain is hand painted with a floral arrangment as well as a smaller flower to the front and back, another flower to the terminal side and a basket weave design to both ends of the piece. The ferrule appears to be made of Sterling silver and the for part of steel and are all original to the piece and period which is nice. The piece is in superb condition with some expected oxidation to the metal. The very end of the porcelain has a brown firing spot to it as shown but that is original to the piece. The fork is 7 inches long of which 3.125 inches is the length of the visible porcelain handle. The handle is about 0.75 inches wide. The porcelain is not marked or shall we say visibly marked since it would be hidden by the ferrule if it were to be marked which is normal. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
