Really Nice Scenic Cup

This is a superb cup made by KPM in the late 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The piece is hand painted very nicely with a scene in polychrome including an old house near the shored of some water with a dock and a boat with two people in it near that. A family on the opposite shore looking towards the house and a city in the far background. All in a nice landscape surrounding. It's a top quality piece! Superb gold and blue trim to the edge and a nice handle in the typical shape for this periodhighlighted with gilding. The cup is 2.375 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as some kind of impressed marks - two lines and a number near the footring as shown. The cup is in perfect condition! I do have the matching saucer but since it has a large damage I decided to sell them separately. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
