Rose Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by KPM around 1828. It is handpainted with a red and white rose design to the front, some nice gold trim and a fancy border design. Gold wash to the inside of the cup. The set is in good condition with two small chips to the underside of the saucer rim and a little wear to the gold in the well. Both are marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark of about 1828 along with a painters mark of a red cross. The cup has an incised B and the saucer has an impressed 2 and a line. The cup is 3.625 inches tall and 3.125 inches in diameter at the top. The saucer is 5.325 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
