Rose Cup

This is a cup made by KPM in the 1820's. It is handpainted with a superb rose flower in the front as well as a saying - Immer bluehe Dein Glueck , wie diese nie welkenede which means may your luck always blossom like this never wilting (insert rose at the end). The flower is of very high quality and the rest of the cup has some nice gilding and a fancy handle also highlighted with gilding. The cup is 3.625 inches tall (4.75 including the handle) and 3.125 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter as well as the iron red eagle mark and a blue painters mark. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
