Rose Garland Plate

This is a fun plate made by KPM around the 1820's. It is handpainted with a ring of roses all around the rim with some gold trim to either side. The roses are extremely well painted and really very elegant! The plate is in great condition with a bit of wear to the gilding. To be expected after almost 200 years :) The plate is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter as well as the iron red eagle mark used before they introduced the red orb mark. Also the usual impressed marks of the period as shown. The piece is 1.375 inches tall and 9.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
