Snowball Flower Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by KPM around 1820. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The set is handpainted with a superb snowball flower (aka European cranberry or Guelder Rose ) design all around as well as some nice gilding. Nice handle shape as well! The saucer is in superb condition with just some wear to the gilding while the cup has wear to the gilding, a hairline to the top rim and a very well restored chip to the foot. The set displays very well! The cup is 3.75 inches tall plus the handle and 3.125 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.75 inches in diameter. Both are marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter as well as an impressed number I cannot make out. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
