Cup & Saucer w/ Blue Trim

This is a really cute little cup and saucer made by KPM in the late 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. Each piece is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement as well as some smaller flowers scattered around and a tiny flower and butterfly to the saucer. What makes this a bit of an usual piece is that instead of gold trim it has a blue trim that looks stunning and because it does not wear like gold the trim is still perfect. The saucer is in perfect condition while the cup has a restored handle - pretty well done and it displays nciely. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall with a diameter of 4.625 inches. The cup is 2.125 inches tall with a diameter of 2.25 inches. Both pieces are marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the normal impressed / incised marks of the period as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $149
