Blue Ground Jewelled Seger Saucer

This is a very rare saucer made of Seger porcelain in the late 19th century during the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period. The saucer has a cobalt blue ground color to it with some delicate gold trim but the ebst part are the raised enamel " jewels " in light blue and red. A stunning look and the jewelled pieces are hard to find. I used to own a cup and saucer set in this design and showed the picture as an example to see what cup would go with this saucer. The dish is in great condition with some wear to the glaze over the blue ground as shown. Does not impact the piece on display. The saucer is just under 1 inch tall and 5 inches in diameter. Marked with the underglaze blue scepter and S.g.r.P. mark with a line cut across it denotng it to be a second choice. Also a gold number 1883. No red orb mark on these ever since they were never sold in the white and Seger pieces usually did not use them! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $229
