Seger Porcelain Egg

This is a rare porcelain egg on three feet with lid made by KPM around 1900. It is handpainted with one of the famous Seger glazes as well as some nice gold trim. Seger porcelain is very rare and sought after. He worked on copying the famous chinese glazes like the Ox-Blood glaze and crackle glazes. This is also one of his glazes. The piece is 5.25 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath as well as in the lid with the number 21. in blue. It is in great condition with some wear to the gilding and a shallow chip to the inside lip of the lid which can't be seen unless you take it off.
