Sheep Scene Saucer

This is a great saucer made by KPM in the late 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The saucer is handpainted with a really nice pastoral scene in the center including three sheep with a pink ground color to the rim and some gold trim. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark as well as a puce 6. as the painter's mark and an impressed 13 and 4 lines on one side and three lines on the other side by the footring. The saucer is in great condition with wear to the gold trim. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
