Small Coffee Pot w/ Blue Trim

This is a really cute little coffee pot made by KPM in the late 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The piece is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement on either side as well as a small flower in the front and another under the handle. Three more small flowers to the top edge and three more to the lid. What makes this a bit of an usual piece is that instead of gold trim it has a blue trim that looks stunning and becuase it does not wear like gold it is in superb condition. The shape is also not as common since it was only used during the classicism period of around 1800. The handle shape is very typical for this period! The pot is in perfect condition! The piece is 5.5 inches tall with the lid, 5.5 inches from handle to spout tip and 2.875 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark used from 1780 until 1800 as well as the normal impressed / incised marks of the period as shown. A very nice piece!
