Neuzierat Berries & Corn Scene Plate

This is a cute plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with a superb design in the center of a piece of corn as well as two gooseberries and some pinks flowers (heather maybe) and off course that amazing gold trim on relief design which makes these plates from the Neuzierat series so special. The combination is probably my favorite plate deisgn. The painting is top notch and the rim trim is just spectacular. The plate is in perfect conditionand it displays perfectly. The piece is 7.375 inches in diameter so the smaller version and 0.875 inches tall. The plate is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, some black numbers, a painter's mark, the usual impressed marks of this period as well as the under glaze blue and over glaze black Iron cross used during the period of WWI. I have other matching plates if anyone would like a pair or a set of these. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
