Teapot

This is a teapot made by KPM around 1790. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. It is handpainted with two floral arrangements - one on each side as well as four smaller flowers. The handle and the spout are highlighted in green, pink and brown on relief work. The spout and the lid rim have a dark brown trim. The lid finial is in the shape of an open blossom. Two small flowers are on the lid as well. The pot is in super condition. The lid finial has been chipped but the rest is in good condition as well. The pot is 3.5 inches tall, 6. 875 inches long and 4.375 inches wide. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
