Small Tray w/ Blue Trim

This is a really cute little tray made by KPM in the late 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. This would have been for a solitaire or tete a tete. The piece is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement on towards the right side of the center with a smaller arrangement to the left sideas well as five small flowers scattered around the rest of the piece. What makes this a bit of an usual piece is that instead of gold trim it has a blue trim that looks stunning and because it does not wear like gold it is in superb condition. It is in perfect condition. The serving dish is 1.125 inches tall, 11 inches wide and 8.75 inches wide. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the normal impressed / incised marks of the period as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
