Treasure Keeper Figurine

This is a figurine made by KPM around 1780. I am calling him the treasure keeper but I am unsure what he is called officially and I am too lazy to look since it matters little :) He is holding a chalice in his left hand, a smoking pipe in his right hand which is rested on some kind of package on top of a chest. Maybe it is his loot from the last pirate venture he took :)The figurine was left in the white to show off the nice detail of the modeling. I like these better that way! Figurines by KPM from this period are not easy to find at all. The figurine is in great condition with a small firing crack behind him by his butt, the back bottom right hand corner of the chest is a bit chipped and the bows on his pants are chipped as well. All quite minor and he displays superbly! The figurine is marked with the underglaze blue scepter mark underneath as shown as well as an incised SM. which might be an artist and is a bit unusual on KPM pieces since artist marks are rare during this period. The piece is 4.5 inches tall, 1.625 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
