Locre Miniature Floral Teapot

This is a super cute miniature teapot made by Rue de la Fontaine au Roi also known as La Courtille or Locre in the late 18th century. Never seen a little one like this by them. Probably for a solitaire or tete a tete. The piece has a hand painted floral arrangement to both sides with a small single flower under the spout. Reddish brown trim to the nicely shaped handle amd spout. The tea pot is in good condition with some minor damage to the spout tip and some minor roughness to the inside of the top opening but that appears to be from when it was made. The lid is a perfect fit but the brown trim was painted on later so it is a matched piece. It works very well and if the color was fired on one would never know. The finial is damaged a bit as shown. It is marked underneath with the crossed arrows in under glaze blue as shown meant to imiate the top German maker's mark. The little piece is about 3.5 inches tall including the finial, 5.375 inches from handle to spout and 3.25 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
