Limbach Floral Teacaddy

This is a nice tea caddy / jar with its lid made by Limbach around 1775. The piece is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement on both the front and the back, a small flower to either side as well as the top and more flowers on the lid. The paste has a relief basket weave design to it and the lid has a flower finial. The shape of the finial is quite typical for Limbach! The teacaddy is not marked but I am certain it was made by them. It is in great condition with a little damage to the flower finial and the stem from the leaf to the flower is missing but it is nice to have the original lid! The piece is 5.25 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and about 1.625 inches deep. Please email me for more information or photos.
