Limbach Large Scenic Coffee Pot

This is a superb large coffee pot made by Limbach about 1775. The main body is hand painted with two very detailed landscape scene that is about as good an example as one can hope to find by them and shows how good they really were. Each scene includes a person, some ruins and building with mountains in the back ground in a landscape surrounding. The lid has two small bird scenes to it. Both pieces have the typical ribbed design to the outside. The main pot is marked with a black clover leaf mark that they used. I also have a matching cup in this design by them. The pot and lid are in great condition with a small manufacturing flaw to the top edge of the pot above the handle. Touch of wear to the scenes but as nice a piece as you can hope for! The coffee pot is huge at 11.75 inches tall, about 7.5 inches from spout to the handle and about 5.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
