Limbach Puce Scenic Teabowl #2

This is a nice teabowl shaped cup made by Limbach around 1780. Limbach was founded in 1762 and made porcelain until about 1850. This cup has a hand painted scene in puce of two smaller buildings with a windmill next to them as well as a fence in the foreground in a nice landscape surrounding and there are two leaves to the outside and one to the bottom inside that fill in the rest of the space nicely. The dish is in perfect condition as shown. It is unmarked underneath which is not unusual but definitely made by them during this period. I have other marked examples as well to compare it to. The cup is 1.875 inches tall and 2.875 inches in diameter. Please e-mail me for more information or photos.

Price is $129
