Limbach Farmer #2

This is a second figurine made by Limbach around 1780. It is of a farmer lady separating the wheat from the stalks. A nicely modeled and painted figurine in the typical manner of Limbach. The figure is 4.75 inches tall, 2 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep. She is in great condition with the right arm broken off cleanly at the shoulder and reglued. There is no mark underneath but the characteristic colors and decoration are a good giveaway plus I found her in my book on Thuringian porcelain. Please email me for more information or photos.
