Limbach Farmer #3

This is a third figurine made by Limbach around 1780. It is of a farmer sowing seeds. A nicely modelled and painted figurine in the typical manner of Limbach. The figure is 5.5 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. He is in great condition with the right arm broken off and restored. That hand has two finger tips missing and the hat has a restoration as well. There is no mark underneath but the characteristic colors and decoration are a good give away and he came with the other two that I found in my book. Please email me for more information or photos.
