Limoges Enamel on Silver Scent Bottle

This is a rare small scent / perfume bottle made in the Limoges area of France around the mid 19th century. It is made of enamel on silver and is of stunning quality! The bottom as well as the lid are hand painted with a superb polychrome scenic decoration with a couple in a landscape surrounding on the main body with a column on the other side and a little landscape scene including a building on the lid. The mounts are nicely decorated silver. The piece is quite heavy for its size. An amzing piece of the highest quality! The piece is not marked but the style is typical for this area and period. I thought the tiny indent on the side might be a mark but it does not look like it. The perfume is in great condition with the original glass stopper and the lid closes very tightly. The flask is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 0.75 inches. Please email me for more information or photos.
