Spectacular Enamel on Silver Cup & Saucer

This is an absolutely incredible cup and saucer set made in France in the 19th century - likely in the Limoges area. One finds little trinkets in this sort of enamel like compacts, pill boxes, scent bottles, pendants but I have never seen nor could I now find anything like this set! It's spectacular to say the least! Hard to describe the detail so have a look at the photos. It is a cup & saucer set that has a translucent guilloche enamel in blue on silver, some nice silver and platinum flower design on top of that and each piece has two regular enamel scenes of the best quality. Each scene includes a couple in a room with a ton of details. The enamel is mostly the typical Limoges enamel except for some part of the clothes have that amazing shiny foil enamel as a highlight as shown. Look at the quality of those scenes! Does not come any better!! The handle on the cup is stunning as well. It must have been the best of the best when it was made. Now for the not so good news - there is the obvious damage to the guilloche enamel but I am hoping a restorer I found can fix that. Not an easy task but well worth it! The main damage is to two spots on top of the saucer by the edge and some in the center of the piece. That will be the hardest. The underside of the saucer is simpler due to no decoration on top of that. The inside of the cup is the same. The outside of the cup has one area over one of the scenes and a crack to one of the scenes that are the worst of it. Otherwise it is in great shape. Imagine this piece when it was new? I love porcelain but this set is way beyond even that. I think the silver handle and rim used to be gold washed as well but I am not sure. Small spots seem to indicate that but it is almost all gone. Oddly enough neither piece is marked at all. No silver hallmarks, nothing. That seems strange with this sort of quality and age. The cup is just over 2.375 inches tall with a top diameter of 2.75 inches. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall with a diameter of 5 inches. Please email me for more information or photos.
