Locre Oil & Vinegar Tray

This is a tray that once held an oil and a vinegar container made by La Courtille aka Rue de la Fontaine-au-Roi or Locre in the 18th century. I wish I had the bottles but even this piece alone is very nice and maybe one day I will find the containers or someone might be looking for this tray :) The piece is nicely handpainted with a few floral arrangements inside and on the underside rim as well as some small flowers and a nice gilding. The two inside rims are nicely reticulated. The tray is in great condition with a small firing crack on the rim of one of the inside rims and a small crack on the rim of the other. Very light wear to the gilding. The tray is marked to the undersides with the underglaze blue crossed arrow mark meant to look like the Meissen swords. It is 2.75 inches tall, 10.25 inches long and 5.5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
