Longton Hall Dish #1

This is a Longton Hall triangular lobed dish. c. 1755. Molded in the form of lightly overlapping leaves and delicately colored in naturalistic enamels with flower bouquets, this rare survivor is 8 and 3/4 inches wide. The Longton Hall factory is not as well-known as Worcester and Chelsea, but their distinctive shapes are like those of no other porcelain factory, then or now. Enameled by an unknown decorator known as the Trembly Rose Painter. Nine inches wide. This piece belongs to a very good friend of mine. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1300
