Loosdrecht Large Bowl

This is a bowl made by Loosdrechtl in about 1780. Oude Loosdrecht was founded by Johannes de Mol in 1771 with what was left of the Weesp factory and was closed in 1784 when he died. The bowl is handpainted with two superb large floral arrangements on the outside as well as some smaller flowers in between and all over the inside bowl. Nice strong puce trim to the edge. The bowl is in great condition with no chips, etc. but there are some use marks like scratches on the inside which could be cleaned to not be as obvious. Nice to find such a large piece without chips or cracks! It is marked with the underglaze blue M.O.L. over a star mark, an incised circle and a script L 48 over a star incised. The bowl is 2.875 inches tall and 10.125 inches in diameter so a large size. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
