Loosdrecht Two Quail Pattern Plate

This is a very interesting soup bowl / plate made by Oude Loosdrecht between 1771 and 1784. Oude Loosdrecht was founded by Johannes de Mol in 1771 with what was left of the Weesp factory and was closed in 1784 when he died. The plate is hand painted with the two quails pattern which we all know from Bow , Meissen and a few other factories but I ahve never seen an example for this maker. I'll have to dig a bit more to see if it's the only known example. Either way it is very interesting. The center of the plate has the Kakiemon design to it with the two fat quails in blue and red and some scattered leaves and flowers along the rim. The edge has a black trim to it. Sadly the plate has seen better days - wear from use and stacking to the scene and a nasty rim chip as shown and two more to the foot ring. No hairline so it can be brought back to perfection by a good restorer! The piece is marked with the underglaze blue M.o.L with the star underneath which is a bit faint as well as some impressed / incised marks including the star mark, etc. as shown. The plate is 1.5 inches tall and 9.875 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
