Flutist Figurine

This is a Ludwigsburg figure of a flute player / flutist with his dog made by Ludwigsburg probably towards the end of this maker in the early 19th century. The figurine is nicely modeled and handpainted with jsut enough color to look quite nice. The figurine is in great condition with the end of the flute missing and the fingers on that hand are restored though it was done very well. The bow on his left foot has some damage as does the one on his right pant leg. The gilding on his was possibly redone but there is no restoration there so I am unsure. The piece displays perfectly and is marked in the back with the crossed cc mark in underglaze blue. Please email me for more information or photos.
