Nude Lady

This is a figurine of a nude lady made by Ludwigsburg in about 1780. She has a blue cloth draped around her middle and a gold collar around her neck. She is marked with the underglaze blue CC mark as well as some black marks one looking like crossed swords. The figure is 5.5 inches tall, 1.75 inches deep and 1.5 inches wide. She is in good condition and we have been debating if the head was ever off and the gold collar is a later addition. I lean towards no as there is sign off it otherwise. Ludwigsburg figures have a weak neck and many have firing cracks in them or have been off. This one looks like a firing flaw with the gold being added originally to make it look better. The gold there is exactly the same as the other gold on the figurine and as we all know gold is impossible to match to the original from back then. Please email me for more information or photos.
