Plate #3

This is a plate made by Ludwigsburg between 1759 and 1770 and is marked with the CC mark under the crown in underglaze blue. Impressed number 19 as well as 1c by the footring. Also a painters mark of a puce letter K. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 9.25 inches in diameter. It is handpainted with flowers and has the basketweave rim called the Osier relief decor typical of that period. Reddish brown trim. It is in good condition with wear to the enamel of the flowers and two tiny fleabites to the edge. Please email me for more information or photos.
