Puce Floral Cup

This is a cup made by Ludwigsburg in the 18th century. It is handpainted with a large floral arrangment as well as lots of small flowers scattered throughout. The rim has the typical reddish brown trim and a basketweave design to the top. Nice handle shape, too. It is likely marked with the CC mark under the crown in underglaze blue but it could just be the CC mark by itself. Impossible to see with the sticker in the way. Doesn't really matter too much if at all :) Some old museum ID numbers underneath as well. The cup is 2.625 inches tall and 2.625 to 2.75 inches in diameter - a bit oval from the firing. The cup is in great condition with a small chip to the top rim from the making which is glazed and has the rim painting over it and some very minor chips to the foortring. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $299
