Puce Scenic Cup

This is a cup made by Ludwigsburg in the 18th century. It is hand painted with a large and very well done puce landscape scene including a building, a person walking as well as the usual trees and rocks. The rim has a basket weave design to it and there is a gold trim to the top edge. Nice handle shape, too. It is marked with the CC mark under the crown in underglaze blue as shown. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The cup is in great condition with a chip to the foot ring which isn't bad at all and a tiny bit of wear to the gold trim. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $349
