Missing Handle Scenic Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup and saucer made by Ludwigsburg around 1770. The set is hand painted with a high quality landscape scene including people, buildings and the usual rocks, trees and water one sees in their better scenes. The rest of the pieces have some small scattered flowers on it, a gold trim on the edge and a nice basket weave design to the paste of the rim. Both are marked with the CC under a crown mark underneath as shown. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is in perfect condition with wear to the gold trim. The has some wear to the gold trim and is lacking its handle. Could be converted into a teabowl or just left as is as it displays perfectly since the scene is opposite the handle. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $599
