Scenic Plate w/Basketweave Rim #1

This is a nice plate made by Ludwigsburg between 1759 and 1770. It is hand painted with a superb scene in the center including a person, some buildings/ ruins in the usual landscape surrounding. Under the scene there is a nice scroll work trim in different colors highlighted with gilding and a leaf garland under that. A couple of small flowers scattered in the well of the plate and some more along the rim. The usual and very nice basket weave design to the paste along the rim and a gold trim to the edge. The plate is 1.375 inches tall and 9.625 inches in diameter. It is in great condition with a very minor touch of wear mainly to one of the flowers on the edge of the well from stacking. As nice as they come and it displays perfectly. The piece is marked with the CC mark under the crown in under glaze blue as well as the usual impressed / incised marks one finds on their wares. Please email me for more information or photos.
