Scale Design Saucer

This is a great cup and saucer made by Ludwigsburg in the 18th century around 1760. It is from the very sought after scale relief design ( Schuppenmuster ) series that you don't see very often at all. The set has the scale design to the paste all around with a nice large hand painted floral arrangement as well as some smaller flowers and a brown trim to the egde. The cup has a fancy handle also highlighted with a bit of brown trim. The set displays nicely with the saucer having four small chips to the outside edge and the cup 5 small shallow outside edge chips to the top rim. Still looks great and is not obvious when on display. The cup and the saucer are marked underneath with the under glaze blue CC under the crown as well as various incised / impressed marks as well as some painter's marks as shown. The saucer is 1.375 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter and the cup is 2.75 inches tall and has a diameter of just over2.75 inches. Please email me for more information or photos.
