Sugar Bowl Lid

This is a lid for a sugar bowl made by Ludwigsburg in the 18th century. The rim has a nice basket weave relief trim to it with a typical brown trim to the edge. Nice pear fruit finial with its stem and leaves on top and a superb hand painted floral arrangement to one side with two more single flowers on top and five small single flowers / leaves around the rim. A stunning looking piece just looking for its bowl. The lid is about 1.5 inches tall and just under 4.25 inches in diameter. The ring that would sit inside the main body has an outer diameter of 3.75 inches. The piece is in good condition witha large chip to the ring that would sit inside the bowl and would not show on display as well as a tiny colored in chip to one of the leaves of the finial. It displays perfectly! Please email me for more information or photos.
