Tall Lady Figurine

This is a very large figurine made by Ludwigsburg in the 18th century. It is of a priestess making an offering to her deity. The lady is nicely dressed in a flowy gown while holding a gilded shallow bowl in her left hand and standing on a typical base for this maker. These large peices are very ahrd to find as most have been broken beyond repair so I was excited to find her! A stunning piece and large enough to show off anywhere in your house. The figure is 15.25 inches tall, 5.25 inches wide and 4.25 inches deep. The piece displays nicely but as one can expect it does ahve some damage - someminor chipping to the edge of the dress she is holding in her hand, a chip to the edge of the offering bowl and the base was broken through on corner as shown which dmaged both ehr feet. This could easily be perfectly hidden by a decent restorer but I like her as is and it does not show much when on display unless you are clsoe up to her. The figurine is marked with their under glaze blue interlaced double C mark as shown underneath on the udnerside of the base. Please email me for more information or photos.
